How long mine stays on the frozen screen points toward overload- everybody having the specific problem on a specific mission points to a bad file. It could be so many things happening at once that the game just stops and begins weeping, or it could be something as simple as a missing or corrupt file that seldomly gets requested to load but breaks everything when it tries to. The only discernible cause I can think of is there was a lot of gunfire and things happening when both happened. Different places, happenings, and even enemy faction involved. No issues performance-wise, just a sudden frozen screen that I have no way of leaving or manipulating, until the inevitable crash report screen. Not sure if it's polite too comment on such an old thread, but I am having this issue. Repeatedly harassing or insulting others will result in a ban.
